Alpine’s eX-10 an All-in-One Dash-Top iPod/Bluetooth Controller

Alpine's eX-10 iPod and Bluetooth controller

The two gadgets that are becoming the most prevalent found and used in cars today would have to be the iPod and bluetooth enabled devices, such as the cell phone. Alpine has a gadget to ease the integration of thus said devices. The eX-10 is a dash top solution, consisting of a 2.4″ display unit, remote control, and a 12v power module for cigarette lighter ports. Connection through the iPod is through Alpine’s KCE-422i Full Speed™ Connection for iPod cable (included). The unit can display album art on screen, as well as caller i.d. information, to name some of the features. Sound output is transmitted through the car’s speakers via either an FM transmitter or line output jack.

The eX-10 will be available at authorized Alpine retailers in late November at $200 SRI. Not bad if your car does not already have Bluetooth and iPod integration built in. Read on for the full press release.
